For the third year in a row, the German Center for Robotics – DKR is implementing projects in cooperation with USAID Bosnia and Herzegovina and USAID Workforce and Higher Access to Markets Activity.

The aim of the project is to train and retrain the workforce employed in the wood and metal industry as PLC programmers. In addition, the unemployed have the opportunity to retrain and as such become more competitive in the labor market and find employment faster.

The trainings were designed through 80 hours of basic and pro trainings divided in four groups of participants, to ensure high performance learning and respecting health care safety measures.

All trainings will take place in the DKR Center with a fully automated production line consisting of industrial robots that serve the line, a welding robot, as well as numerous PLCs that enable communication between machines in real time.

The deadline for submitting applications is June 20, 2021. year, until 04:00 PM.
